The isotype project involved choosing a "how to" and an appropriate location on Miami's campus. The goal was to get the point across understandably and with as few words as possible, focusing primarily on the image portraying the message. The steps initially included sketching out many iterations, scanning a final into illustration, and using the pen tool to digitize it to get the black and white version. From there, I color coded the document so it could be translated into a laser-cut compatible design. Finally, it was laser cut into an 8"x10" piece of birch wood. Fall 2015.
